The Faculty of Architecture, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, in association with the Academic Staff College, successfully organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Advanced Productivity Skills” to strengthen the digital competencies of faculty members and promote excellence in teaching, research, and academic administration.

The program featured an engaging hands-on training session led by Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim K, an experienced Microsoft Tools Trainer. The workshop focused on advanced features enabling participants to improve document creation, data management, reporting, formatting, automatio and overall workplace productivity.

Designed as an interactive learning experience, the FDP encouraged faculty members to explore practical techniques that can simplify everyday academic tasks, enhance collaboration, and improve efficiency in curriculum planning, assessment, research documentation and administrative workflows. Through real-time demonstrations and guided exercises, participants gained valuable insights into leveraging digital tools for smarter and more effective work practices.
