We are delighted to announce that the Faculty of Architecture, Dr. M.G.R. University, has once again brought home a remarkable honor at the AYDA Awards 2024, held at VIT University. For the third consecutive year, we have been recognized with the prestigious Best Supporting College Award—a true testament to our commitment to nurturing young design talent.
Adding to this proud moment:
✨ Ar. Zakia Fathima received the Best Mentor Award 2024, recognizing her invaluable guidance and mentorship.
✨ S. Prince, our 2nd-year M.Arch (Interior Architecture) student, emerged among the top 12 national finalists in the Interior Design Category. His project, UNNATHI – Farmers’ Community Centre, Palakkad, Kerala, is a thoughtful design that addresses farmers’ challenges by blending vernacular sensibilities with modern interior elements to create a culturally rooted and functional space.
Our Honourable President, Er. A.C.S. Arunkumar, extended heartfelt appreciation to the faculty and student for their outstanding achievement.
