Our B.Arch first-year students recently embarked on an inspiring visit to the Cholamandala Artists’ Village, a vibrant hub of art and creativity that celebrates India’s rich heritage. This exploration offered students a firsthand experience of the artistic expressions and craftsmanship that define the village’s legacy.

Nestled in Chennai, the Cholamandala Artists’ Village is renowned for its blend of traditional and contemporary art forms. Students had the opportunity to witness various artworks, sculptures, and installations, gaining insights into the creative processes of the resident artists.

The visit was more than just an exploration of art—it was a lesson in design inspiration and cultural appreciation. It allowed students to see how art and architecture intersect, offering new perspectives that they can apply in their own creative journeys.

Here’s to nurturing creativity and learning from the masters of art and heritage!
