At the Faculty of Architecture, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, every successful architect begins with an idea, nurtured through creativity, critical thinking, and the confidence to communicate it effectively.
Our first-year B.Arch students recently participated in their Viva Voce, marking an important milestone in their architectural education. The session provided a platform for students to present their design concepts, explain their creative process, and demonstrate their understanding of architectural principles before an expert panel.
The presentations reflected innovative thinking, problem-solving skills, and a strong foundation in design. Each student’s work showcased originality, thoughtful planning, and the ability to translate ideas into meaningful architectural solutions. Beyond evaluating projects, the Viva Voce encouraged students to develop confidence in presenting and defending their design decisions—an essential skill for every future architect.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed external jury members for their valuable evaluations, constructive feedback, and professional insights. Their guidance and encouragement have played a significant role in motivating our students and enhancing their learning experience.
At the Faculty of Architecture, we remain committed to nurturing talented architects through experiential learning, academic excellence, and continuous mentorship. The Viva Voce is more than an academic assessment—it is a celebration of creativity, growth, and the promising future of our aspiring architects.
We congratulate all our first-year B.Arch students on this achievement and look forward to witnessing many more milestones in their journey toward design excellence.
