Creativity took centre stage as the 1st-year B.Design students of the Faculty of Architecture, Dr. M.G.R. University, participated in an exciting hands-on activity — “Doodle Riddle.”
What started as splashes and stains of colour soon turned into a canvas of imagination, where each student transformed random patterns into meaningful stories and visuals.
The session aimed to:
- ✨ Encourage free thinking and spontaneous visual expression
- 🧠 Stimulate design thinking through abstract interpretation
- 🎨 Explore colour psychology and creative storytelling
- 💬 Enhance observation and perception skills
- 🤝 Build teamwork and peer learning through shared ideas
Under the guidance of the faculty, students learned how creativity often emerges from unpredictability — a key trait in design exploration. The activity celebrated the joy of experimentation, allowing students to express their unique perspectives with confidence.
The studio buzzed with laughter, curiosity, and vibrant energy, as each doodle reflected the student’s imagination, perception, and personality.
A truly inspiring day that reminded everyone — “Every stain can spark a story, and every splash can lead to a masterpiece!”
