The B.Des students of the Faculty of Architecture, Dr. M.G.R. University, recently participated in an intensive 15-day workshop at The Plank Architecture & Interiors, designed to provide them with hands-on exposure to the professional world of design.
The workshop offered students an opportunity to step beyond the classroom and immerse themselves in real-world design practices. Through guided sessions led by architects and industry experts, students engaged in concept development, detailing exercises, and practical design applications. They also gained valuable insights into current industry trends, strengthening their understanding of the dynamic field of interior and architectural design.
This unique learning experience served as a bridge between academic learning and professional practice, empowering students to cultivate not only creativity and technical expertise, but also the confidence needed to thrive in the design industry.
